International Women’s Day 2021

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8th. It is a day when we recognise and celebrate women as innovators, pioneers, role models and leaders throughout the fields of science, research, conservation, exploration, diving, advocacy, education amongst many more! On International Women’s Day 2021, some of the GCFI Community shared their testimonials on women who inspired them, what we can do to for a gender equal discipline and why we need more women in leadership.
